Chet has been at the helm of NWIRC since June, 2005. He brings an impressive background of leadership in manufacturing to the organization. His most recent position prior to leading NWIRC was President and Chief Operating Officer of PHB, Incorporated where he served for 11 years. He also served as Group President for Oak Industries in Waltham, Massachusetts, as General Manager for Johnson Controls Engineered Plastics Division in Erie, and as President and Chief Executive Officer of Blasius Industries and Component Technology Corporation (formerly a division of Blasius), also in Erie.
Chet is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, holding a degree in engineering, as well as a Masters degree in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickenson University. While at West Point, he was a three year letterman on the Army football team. As an Army officer, he served two tours of duty as a paratrooper and ranger in Vietnam, earning awards for valor and meritorious service.
