Erin Dixon joined the Northwest Industrial Resource Center in October 2008, as District Manager serving the counties of Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, Jefferson, McKean and Potter.

With a professional foundation in business economic development, community development and business services, Dixon has specialty skills in grant writing, program management, planning, industrial cluster growth and support services, demographic and market research, facilitation, and client case management. 

Dixon’s work at NWIRC will focus on helping the manufacturers of the North Central Pennsylvania region find opportunities for business growth as well as cost reduction measures. 

Dixon graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications Media and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. She holds certifications from Penn State University in Economic Development and from the University of Pittsburgh in Procedures Development. A DuBois native, she is a member of the DuBois Area Jaycees and serves on the Downtown DuBois Renaissance Group Board of Directors. 

Erin has been instrumental in writing and co-writing local and regional development and programming grants, bringing nearly $6 million in state and federal funding to the 13 counties of Northwestern and North Central Pennsylvania. Those grants have helped to leverage more than $50 million in private capital investment over the past decade.
